What folks are saying

I don’t know how you pulled that off without being able to alter the mix itself. The hard part about mixing the piece was keeping the various parts from getting buried. But you’ve managed to bring each of them out and make them articulate and clear, despite my liberal use of distortion. You’ve enhanced the essence of the piece. Excellent work.

“Knocked it out of the park, as always! Love what you did with the low end, again, as usual. The widening was a really nice touch as well, perfectly executed.”

I don’t know where to begin to say “Thank you” to Adam at Magic Ears Mastering.

Adam took great personal care and interest while mastering The Cravens latest release, “The Dark Side Of Love,” which will be out on August 2nd, 2019.

Great detail and concern was taken in order to find out exactly what the band was looking for: Phone conversations, step by step texts discussing the process and pros / cons of everything concerning frequencies and the entire mastering process. I could tell instantly that Adam is a pro and loves what he does. We could hear it in the final product. No disappointments here. Adam took his time…not a rush job, like other mastering services used in the past. And very reasonably priced. Adam is top notch. Highly recommended by The Cravens!

To get comparable mastering quality to Adam’s masters you would normally have to spend a couple hundred dollars on one song. His process ensures that the very best elements of a mix are revealed, the final product is left with remarkable tonal balance and is highly pleasing to the ears. His commitment to making sure his clients are happy with the end result is unparalleled. It’s certainly the best value that I’m aware of in terms of mastering. Highly recommended!

I could best describe your mix as “precise.” You’ve got an excellent ear. Over the last 40 years, I’ve taken seven bands into a recording studio and only one other engineer has managed to give me as good a guitar sound as you did. And you did it under the worst of circumstances: with a guitar recorded on a software modeling amp! Nice job with the bass, too. Great work!

As an artist, I’m always looking to improve my work. I couldn’t be more happy with how my album turned out. I appreciate Adam’s professionalism and his Magic Ears!
He’s the man!

Couldn’t ask for a more professional cat to work with. He puts every ounce of himself into making your music sound as huge as it can be. His knowledge of all genres is vast and his dedication is insurmountable. I will always come back.
