Working with Adam was not only more interactive than with any other mastering engineer I tried, but his advice showed years of irreplaceable experience. Patiently working through several revisions of my mixes (and I am a perfectionist), he patiently accommodated my personal preferences while adding his black magic on the mixes in a way that preserved my original vision. This was critical for me. Without over-coloring the tracks, he gave a palpable mojo to his masters worth every penny. I also found his rates more than competitive. I felt I got more from his masters than from previous engineers who charged as much and more than he did, and with less pleasing results. “Magic Ears” is a fitting moniker for his company. You really do feel like you’re paying for some sonic magic.
